Meet the humans behind the Squad
We are a boutique Auckland-based dog care service owned and operated by experienced dog care professionals with years of experience providing care and training to various dogs. We are passionate about delivering enriching care for your dogs that meets their needs and helps them to become happy, balanced dogs.
Dogs are the most amazing creatures. They are just so honest about how they feel and what they want. Working with them and seeing them grow and thrive is incredible, and we are lucky to call this our job. We believe all dogs can thrive with the proper training, care and environment.
As a team, we do our best to cater to each dog's needs and ensure their time in our care is enjoyable.
Cassie & Hayden
Cassie (Senior Handler and Trainer) and Hayden (Senior Handler) are the owners and driving force behind The Dog Squad. With a passion for enriching animal care and a love for dogs, Cassie and Hayden have turned the Dog Squad into the incredible community it is today. Handlers and Trainers, you'll see them out on Pack Walks and running private training and Homestays, from their sister-business Travelling Trainers.
Hayley
Hayley is a full-time Dog Handler. She has a fantastic way with the dogs and loves a good adventure. Forests, city streets or maybe a beach walk? Hayley's packs are on it! You will see her on adventures with the dogs from Monday to Friday and out on assessments meeting new Squad applicants.
Lania
Lania is our administrative superstar; she handles everything from invoicing to client communication. We would be lost without her organisational skills; she is integral to keeping our daily operations running on schedule and booking all your dogs in.
Sami
Sami is a part-time Dog Handler. She has a gentle touch with the dogs and a bubbly personality that the dogs find infectious. Her packs are known for fun adventures and plenty of laughs!
Amber
Amber is a Dog Handler and trainer who truly has a way with dogs. Her packs are often visiting exciting new locations and making new friends. She has a wealth of experience and a can-do attitude.
Ellie
Ellie is our newest full-time Handler. She has a great sense of humour and a sunny disposition and absolutely adores the dogs. Her packs are always excited and waiting at the door for her to arrive!
